Treatments - Botox

Botox, short for Botulinum toxin, is a popular cosmetic treatment that helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. With its remarkable ability to rejuvenate and refresh, Botox has become an essential tool in the field of aesthetic medicine.

When injected in small amounts into specific muscles, Botox temporarily reduces the nerve signal that causes muscle contraction - the muscle relaxes, the movement is reduced and the skin overlying the area is allowed to soften and smooth. This effect is especially beneficial in areas where repetitive muscle movements have created noticeable lines and wrinkles over time, such as crow's feet near the eyes or frown lines between the eyebrows.

Treatment is virtually painless and with minimal downtime you can resume your daily activities almost immediately after your session. Results typically begin a few days after treatment, with optimal results seen at around two weeks. The duration of effect can vary from person to person but generally lasts for around two to six months. Regular maintenance treatments are often recommended to sustain the desired outcome.

One size does not fit all - facial features, expression and muscle strength are unique, and I pride myself on treatments as individual as you are.

Frown Lines

Vertical lines that appear between the eyebrows can be softened and reduced. Treating this area can create a more relaxed appearance.

Forehead Lines

A common site for treatment, wrinkles across the forehead can be effectively smoothed revealing a fresher and more youthful look.

‘Crow’s Feet’

Lines around the eyes can be a lovely addition to any face. They can be softened if required and help ‘open up’ the eye area.

Treatments - Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are an advanced aesthetic treatment designed to deeply hydrate, rejuvenate, and improve skin quality from within. Unlike traditional dermal fillers which add volume, skin boosters deliver lightweight hyaluronic acid directly into the skin to enhance moisture retention, elasticity, and collagen production.

Intense hydration for a fresh, dewy, bright complexion
Smoother skin texture with reduced fine lines
Improved elasticity for firmer, plumper skin

Unlike topical skincare which only affect the skin surface, skin boosters work from within to deliver long-lasting hydration and rejuvenation. They are perfect for individuals looking for a natural glow, anti-aging benefits, and overall skin health improvement without the need for fillers or Botox, however they can work beautifully alongside these treatments.

Technique

Skin boosters are offered as a course because they work by gradually improving skin hydration, elasticity and overall quality over time. A series of treatments allows the skin to absorb and retain the benefits, leading to longer-lasting, more natural results. Each session builds on the last.

Skin Boosters can be delivered in two main ways - the BAP technique or Mesotherapy technique. The choice between techniques is based on product, skin concerns, treatment goals and downtime preferences. This will be fully discussed with you on consultation.

The Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) method - a structured five point injection pattern designed for skin boosters like Profhilo®, which spread naturally and evenly within the skin . This method is best for deep hydration and mature skin.

Available brands include Profhilo® and Seventy Hyal®

The Mesotherapy technique - a superficial micro-injection technique that delivers small amounts of product directly into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) via multiple tiny injections. This method can treat the whole face but can also be used to target specific problem areas.

Available brands include Teosyal Redensity 1®

Profhilo is made with a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid (HA) compared to most other skin boosters making it an incredibly effective option. They are given as a course - two treatments four weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatment every 6-9 months.

“A power boost for your skin at the cellular level”

Collagen and elastin are the key proteins that keep skin firm, plump, and youthful. Over time, their levels naturally decline due to ageing and external factors like UV exposure, pollution, and lifestyle habits.

  • Collagen provides structure and strength to the skin. From the mid-20s, collagen production slows down, leading to thinner, less firm skin. By the time we reach our 40’s and 50’s, collagen breakdown outpaces production, contributing to wrinkles and sagging.

  • Elastin gives skin its stretch and bounce. As we age, elastin fibers degrade, making the skin less resilient and more prone to wrinkles and laxity.

This gradual loss of collagen and elastin leads to visible signs of aging, such as fine lines, sagging, and loss of volume. Treatments like polynucleotides and skin boosters help to replenish and support these essential proteins, keeping skin looking youthful and healthy.

Polynucleotides are powerful molecules that work at a cellular level - think of them as tiny messengers made from DNA and RNA (the building blocks of our cells) designed to stimulate the specific cells responsible for collagen and elastin production within our skin. The result? Increased synthesis of these key proteins and a boost to your skins natural repair system. With anti-inflammatory properties, polynucleotides help to repair damage, reduce fine lines and promote a natural, long-lasting glow. Plus, they’re packed with antioxidant power, helping to protect the skin from oxidative stress and environmental damage.

Whether for skin revitalisation, acne scars, dark under eye circles or even hair restoration - polynucleotides are a highly effective way of regenerating the skin from within revealing healthier, fresher and more youthful looking skin.

Treatments - Polynucelotides

Polynucleotides can be used in various areas to rejuvenate and repair the skin, including:

  • Face – Improves hydration, elasticity, and reduces fine lines

  • Under Eyes – Reduces dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines

  • Neck & Décolletage – Firms and smooths crepey skin

  • Hands – Restores volume, hydration, and reduces signs of aging

  • Scalp – Stimulates hair growth and improves scalp health

Polynucleotide treatments are typically performed as a course of three to four sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. This allows the skin to gradually regenerate.

After the initial course, maintenance treatments every four to six months help prolong the effects. Results improve over time as the skin continues to regenerate, making polynucleotides a long-term investment in skin health and rejuvenation.
